USAID│Pakistan ENTREPRENEURS Project is funded by USAID and implemented by MEDA Pakistan. This five year project is designed to significantly increase the incomes of micro entrepreneurs and small enterprise owners, with particular focus on women, by 2014.
The ENTREPRENEURS project will be working in value chains with high potential for market expansion and provide the best platform for increasing incomes of the targeted number of entrepreneurs in priority regions. It aims at working in four growing value chains, including Embellished Fabric, Dairy, Honey, and Medicinal and Aromatic Plants with the goal to link producer to profitable market, both on a national and international level, in order to provide better opportunities. The Project will also aid the livelihoods recovery process of 42,000 families in areas affected by conflict and natural disaster. Through stronger links to profitable markets, the incomes of at least 75,000 predominantly women micro entrepreneurs will increase and their business will grow sustainably through development of their respective value chains.
