Partners and P&P
MEDA Pakistan is working through partnership with
national institutions/NGOs in Pakistan.
The Entrepreneurship and Community Development
Institute (ECDI) is providing capacity
development
support to four Key Facilitating Partners (KFPs)
i.e. Kaarvan Crafts, Sarhad Rural Support Program
(SRSP), Pak Social Welfare Society (PSWS) and
Haleeb Foods Limited (HFL).
ECDI
is deeply committed to education, research and capacity
enhancement for the social and economic
advancement of local communities, especially
women. Capacity building activities will operate
as part of an iterative learning loop, implemented
by ECDI in close collaboration with MEDA Pakistan

Haleeb, To strengthen women business
involvement in milk sector, HFL has entered into
project partnership with MEDA Pakistan to empower
women entrepreneurs through training and market
exposure. The overall objective of the project is
to facilitate market access and linkages to 6000
homebound women milk producers

Kaarvan In June 2008, Kaarvan Crafts Foundation and MEDA (Mennonite
Economic Development Associates) entered into a
partnership for a period of 4 years to provide
market access to over 10,000 homebound women
embellishers of rural low income groups in
Pakistan

PSWS
in partnership with MEDA Pakistan aims to improve
the family income and socio-economic conditions of
5000 homebound women processors engaged in bangle
industry in Hyderabad

SRSP
through this project focuses on improving the
family income and socio-economic conditions of
over 1000 homebound women in seedling production
in Haripur and adjoining districts
